Keep My Friend in your Prayers!

Today's post is not about me or my family!

A friend from highschool passed away last weekend with cancer.  She leaves behing two beautiful daughters (7 years old and 1 year old).  Her funeral is today, in the city that I grew up in 1 1/2 hours away.  I will be driving in and saying my final goodbyes.

When I attended her visitation the other day, I was reminded how precious life is and to appreciate every breath we take.
I was reminded to keep in touch with old friends.
I was reminded make time for family and friends not matter how busy life gets.
I was reminded to appreciate every minute that I can breath and watch my children grow.
I was reminded that life is precious.
I was reminded to not take a single second for granted.

Today, please keep my friend Duemy and her family in your prayers!

Have a Wonderful Day!

I had a few minutes to sit down & came over to thank you for the award. It was so long ago & I apologize for not getting thanking you sooner.

I am so sorry about your highschool friend. Your right, life is precious. Every time I read a story like her's, I hug my kids a little tighter & thank God for another day that I'm here with them. It puts life into perspective. I will keep her family in my prayers today.
